Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in Sajid-Farhad's Housefull 3, will again feature in a comedy drama but this time with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, reports mid-day.
Well, this will definitely delight Abhishek and Aishwarya's fans. The duo were last seen in Mani Ratnam's 2010 film Raavan and the viewers loved the couple's on screen chemistry.
Recently, a report in mid-day stated that Abhishek might work again with Aishwarya in Vashu Bhagnani's film titled Sundarkand, which was previously set to star Irrfan Khan and Taapsee Pannu.
A source also told mid-day that both Abhishek and Aishwarya are reading the script and are keen to return to the big screen together.
Of Sundarkand, the source told mid-day: "It is inspired by real-life incidents. It follows two cops who find love in a crime-infested state.
" The project will be helmed by TV director Priya Mishra, who will make her Bollywood debut with the film.
Recently, there were reports that Abhishek Bachchan will feature in JP Dutta's Paltan. However, the actor walked out of the movie just 24 hours before the team left to shoot in Ladakh, reports mid-day.
Initially, it was speculated that Abhishek and Aishwarya will work together for Mani Ratnam's film but later the reports said that they will feature in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun.But, there was no confirmation about the news from the actors.
Abhishek and Aishwarya have shared screen space in films like Sarkaar Raj, Guru and Dhoom 2. Aishwarya Rai, who was last seen in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is currently prepping for her upcoming film Fanney Khan, co-starring Anil Kapoor.
