The recruitment tests for senior officers, officers and cash officers of five state-run banks will be held in the pre-scheduled date (January 12).
Member Secretary of Bankers' Selection Committee Secretariat of Bangladesh Bank Mosharraf Hossain Khan made the announcement today.
A new notice over the issue is available on the Bangladesh Bank website.
Earlier on January 7, the High Court halted the recruitment tests for senior officers, officers and cash officers of Sonali, Rupali and Janata banks.
The examinations were scheduled to hold on January 12.
The bench of Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury and Justice JBM Hassan came up with the order after hearing a writ petition challenging last year’s job circulars issued by eight banks.
In response to the petition, the High Court also issued a rule asking the authorities concerned to explain why they should not be directed to hold the recruitments tests as per the circulars issued in 2016 before holding the tests on the basis of the circulars issued in 2017.
According to the writ petition, the authorities of Bangladesh Bank has issued a combined circular on December 26 in 2017 for recruitments in the eight state-run banks without holding the tests according to the 2016 circular.
