The investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange – on Thursday (October 12).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over -33.24 points and -0.14 percent to stand at 6100.01 at the opening of the day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 19515 with the transaction at Tk 1278.62 million.
Of the issues traded, 116 advanced, 112 declined and 43 remained unchanged.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to -18.33 by dropping over 11476.34 points.
Of the issues traded, 29 gained, 34 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
