Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu today claimed that the registered political parties will contest the next general election in the country.
“The convicted political parties will be kept out of the politics,” he opined.
Hasanul Haq Inu came up with the comments while talking with Kalerkantho Executive Editor Mostofa Kamal in the regular Facebook-live programme held at its headquarters in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential area this evening.

The minister spoke on different issues including the current political situation in the country, recently staged quota movement and so on, in the programme.
He praised the Sheikh Hasina-led ruling Awami League government for playing a significant role in attaining economic growth, reducing poverty and curbing militancy with an iron fist.
Pointing to the ninth wage-board for journalists, he said: “We will discuss regarding the wage-board with the finance minister before the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. ”
“The wage board is coming by next 4/5 months and we will implement it,” the minister told the live programme.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, however, answered different queries from the viewers.
