Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood on Monday urged the ACC officials and employees transferred to other departments of the state to work with honesty and sincerity at their new workplaces.
“Work to resist corruption in your workplaces. Let not immorality touch you,” he said while addressing a farewell ceremony at the ACC head office, reports UNB.
The function was arranged to bid farewell to 31 ACC officials and employees. Of them, some went on retirement while others were transferred to different departments.
The ACC chairman urged the retired officials to assist the ACC through their suggestions if they see any inconsistency in its work.
Among others, ACC Secretary Dr Md Shamsul Arefin, its former Director General Md Asaduzzaman, retiring Director General Md Zafar Iqbal and Director Sheikh Faruk Hossain also spoke on the occasion.
