The fire that broke out at a readymade garment factory in the capitals’ Rampura area this noon has been doused.
Private TV station News24, a sister concern of the Bangla daily Kalerkantho, has reported the news.
No casualties were reported till the report was filed around 4:25pm. A total of four firefighting units have tried to douse the blaze, sources said.
The fire broke out at the readymade garment factory adjacent to the Better Life Hospital in Rampura area around 2pm, Fire Service and Civil Defense Duty Officer Najma Akter said.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
