The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will on Monday pronounce the verdict on two alleged war criminals, who claimed to have committed crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
A three-member bench of the International Crimes Tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam has set the date in an announcement yesterday.
The two accused are- Liakat Ali, former chairman of Murakori union parishad under Lakhai upazila in Habiganj, and Aminul Islam alias Razab Ali of Astogram upazila in Kishoreganj.
According to the case statement, they were accused of committing mass killing, murder, abduction, torture and loot during the Liberation War in 1971.
In 2015, the investigation agency submitted its report on the case while the arrest warrants were issued for them on May 18, 2016.
