Bangladesh suffered a 3-run defeat against the host West Indies in the second ODI at Guyana today. The three-match series is level at 1-1 now.
Chasing 272, Bangladesh got a good start from the openers. After Tamim and Sakib, Musfiqur Rahim got the fifty. The partnership between Mushy and Mahmudullah flourished and threatened to take the game away. It was Bangladesh's game until the very last over, when Holder conjured up an incredible final over to seal the deal.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and opt to bowl first. West Indies put up a competitive 271 on the board, thanks to the brilliant hundred from Hetmyer. The 21-year-old Hetmyer played a mature, counterattacking hundred under pressure.
