After winning the toss, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma invited Bangladesh to bat first.
Having been put into the bat, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular interval and became all-out scoring 173 runs in 49.1 over.
Mehidy Hasan scored highest 42 runs off 50 delivery with 2 fours and 2 sixes while captain Mashrafe Mortaza added valuable 26 runs off 32 balls hitting two eye-catching sixes.
Shakib, Mushfiq and Mahmudullah added 17, 21 and 25 runs respectively for Bangladesh side.
Indian leg-spinner Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah picked up 3 wickets to stop Bangladesh for just 173 runs.
