Asia Cup: Tigers make it to final beating Pakistan by 37 runs

Bangladesh have reached the final of Asia Cup beating Pakistan by 37 runs in the 6th match at Abu Dhabi in the UAE early Thursday.   

They set a target of 240 runs for Pakistan in the virtual semi-final of the Asia Cup at Abu Dhabi in UAE on Wednesday, thanks to brilliant batting from Musfiqur Rahim.

Musfiqur Rahm scored 99 runs while Mithun Ali played a great nock of 60 runs. Mahmudullah contributed 25 runs to the Tigers innings.

Junaid Khan was the best of the Pakistan bowlers, taking 4 wickets 19 runs. Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali picked up two wickets each.

In response, Pakistan posted 202 runs losing 9 wickets after 50 overs. 

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first in the must-win game. Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out due to a finger injury. Pakistan dropped Mohammad Amir, bringing in Junaid Khan.
