Bangladesh is in deep trouble as 6 wickets are down with just 78 runs on board in 29th over of the first innings of the first Test against Zimbabwe in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Zimbabwean pacers Tendai Chatara bagged 3 wickets while Kyle Jarvis picked up two wickets.

Earlier, Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed six wickets as Bangladesh bowled out Zimbabwe for 282 on day.

Taijul Islam bagged six wickets for 108 runs while Nazmul Islam took two for 49 runs. Mahmudullah and Abu Jayed picked one wicket each.

Sean Williams was the best of the Zimbabwean batsmen scoring 88 runs while Peter Moor made 63 runs.

Captain Hamilton Masakadza, the right-handed batsman played a 52-run innings for the visitors.
