Taijul, Miraz strike to lift Bangladesh hopes

Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz keep the hope alive by taking early wickets of Zimbabwe in the third day of the second innings of first Test at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Taijul Islam picked 4 valuable wickets while Mehidy took 2 wickets for Bangladesh to get the breakthrough.   

Regis Chakabva  [2* off 4 0x4] and Wellington Masakadza [0* off 5; 0x4] are now at the crease when the team total was 131/6 in 45 overs.

Earlier, Zimbabwe resumed the second innings on day three with a 140-run lead with H Masakadza and Brian Chari at the crease with the overnight team total of 2 for no loss in 2 overs.
