Captain Mahmudullah and Mithun guided Bangladesh towards a huge lead with a 118-run stand for the fifth wicket in the second innings of the final Test against Zimbabwe at the home of cricket Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.

Tigers are now on 151 for 6 and leading by 369 runs. Mahmudullah (56) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (0) are in the crease.

Earlier in the morning, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah opted not to enforce the follow-on and decided to bat.

Zimbabwe bowled out for 304 in their first innings yesterday and failed to avoid the follow-on.

Bangladesh declared the first innings at 522 for 7.

Musfiqur Rahim went past Shakib Al Hasan to become to record holder for the highest individual innings by a Bangladesh batsman with his unbeaten 219.

Rahim is now the first keeper to score two double-hundreds in Test history.

Rahim scored unbeaten 219 off 421 balls smashing 18 fours and 1 six with Bangladesh declared their innings at 522.
