Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said the government will block accessing popular social networking sites including Facebook and Tweeter during the upcoming SSC exams.
The minister came up with the comment while talking with reporters at his secretariat office in the capital on Tuesday.
Country’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations of 2018 are scheduled to begin on February 1.
According to the schedule, the theoretical parts of the exams will end on February 24.
Earlier, the government rescheduled two examinations of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) scheduled for February 24 and 25 due to the scheduled Dhaka North City Corporation's mayor by-election.
As, in its order, the High Court has suspended this election for three months, the SSC and equivalent examinations will now begin as per the previous schedule (Feb 1).
