Jacqueline Fernandez is a bit of a beauty chameleon—veering between the sweet girl next door and the sultry bombshell.
Of Sri Lankan and Malay-Canadian descent, she won the Miss Sri Lanka Universe title in 2006 and three years later, made inroads in Bollywood.
Her first release in 2009 was Aladin, in which she played a character inspired by the Disney princess Jasmine.
She then went on to become the queen of sequels, delivering back-to-back hits in 2012 with Murder 2, Housefull 2 and in 2013 with Race 2.
The good news only continued from there as she bagged movies opposite the top-billed names in the industry, including Salman Khan in Kick (2014), Ranbir Kapoor in Roy (2015) and Akshay Kumar in Brothers (2015).
She teamed up with her Brothers co-star Sidharth Malhotra again this year in the comic caper, A Gentleman and was last seen romancing Varun Dhawan in Judwaa 2.
As she cements her A-lister status opposite Salman Khan in Race 3, here’s a look at her equally glittering beauty scorecard.
The bold and the beautiful
Expect lustrous locks, an adventurous choice in the lipstick palette and an enviable tan. Given her past as a beauty pageant title holder, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that Fernandez had no trouble making heads turn when she first stepped into the industry in 2009.
As her onscreen roles took on a sultry note—think a burnished gold tan and sexy mussed hair in ‘Haal-e-Dil’ from Murder 2 (2012)—she followed pace off-screen by making the most of her voluminous hair and dewy skin.
One to champion the bright lip and the glossy mane, Fernandez seriously upped her game from the heavy-handed bronzer in 2011 to a sleek braided updo and rose-nude lips a year later.
The coming years saw her rule the red carpet, dabbling with everything from acid pink lips and cat eyes to sleek hair with super-plumped lashes.
Having already hit all the right notes on her beauty report card, Fernandez had nowhere to go but up, and she continues to score brownie points by keeping her adventurous streak alive.
The year 2016 saw her peppering the red-carpet staple, relaxed waves and scarlet pout, with vintage updos and frosted lippies.
The Housefull 3 (2016) promotion spree also saw her letting celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni have her way with those voluminous locks.
The result? A fabulous set of tiered ponytails. With a packed roster of movie promotions on her hands this year, the live-wire embraced fresh corals, minimalist eyes and scrubbed clean skin.
