Dhallywood actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol Dipjol, who had suffered a heart attack on Tuesday and diagnosed with Pleural effusion, was taken to Singapore for better treatment on Wednesday afternoon in an air-ambulance.
Labaid Hospital’s Communications Officer, Saifur Rahman Lenin, has confirmed this to The Daily Kaler Kantho.
He said: “The family members of the actor have flown to Singapore with him for better treatment on Wednesday afternoon in an air-ambulance.”
Earlier Dhallywood actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Labaid Hospital in the capital on Tuesday as he was experiencing severe chest pain at his residence in the afternoon.
Director Montazur Rahman Akbar, earlier, said: “The actor will be admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.”
Dipjol started his career in the film industry as a hero with the movie ‘Takar Pahar’ while he acted in more than 200 movies in the Dhallywood film industry.
