Today is the second death anniversary of popular Bangladeshi actress Parveen Sultana Diti. She died on March 20 in 2016 at a hospital in Dhaka after a long battle with cancer.
Parveen Sultana Diti was a very amiable, talented and immensely popular film actress of the country.
Parveen Sultana Diti was born on March 31, 1965 in Sonargaon of Narayanganj. She acted on both big and small screens.
She also worked as a model in many television commercials in her lifetime in Bangladesh.
On her second death anniversary today, the cultural organization in Bangladesh is remembering the popular actress with staging different programmes across the country.
She acted in more than 200 films in her distinguished career. The films acted by Diti are included- ‘Dui Jibon’, ‘Bhai Bondhu’, ‘Kathin Protishodh’, ‘Sneher Pratidan’, ‘Ajker Hangama’, ‘Kalia’, ‘Charam Aghat’, ‘Mukti’, ‘Char Satiner Ghar’, ‘Lady Inspector’, ‘Sesh Opahar’, Hira Moti’.
Diti married actor Sohel Chowdhury in 1986. She was diagnosed with brain cancer on 25 July in 2015.
