Popular music composer Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, who is adorned for his evergreen compositions, has been diagnosed with a total of eight blocks in his heart.

The noted Bangladeshi lyricist, composer and also a music director, who is active since the late 1970s, came up with the information through a Facebook post published on May 15 (yesterday).

“I was a prosecution witness in the war crimes case in 2012 as per government’s directives but I never believed my younger brother Miraz would be killed for that deposition,” Bulbul wrote.

Taking to Facebook, he also expressed his grief and said: “I have sought justice from the government over the murder but I did not get it and now I have been confined to my house since last six years along with my only son under the security of police.”

“It’s a miserable chapter of my life,” the lyrist echoed.

“I am now seriously ill and I have eight blocks in my heart after having been confined in the house for six years,” he added. “I cannot be cured without a bypass surgery.”

“I was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Ibrahim Cardiac for four days,” he said further and sought prayers from his fans.
