Rajshahi University authorities punished two teachers for their alleged involvement in making communal and much-talked controversial questions in the Fine Arts faculty entry test for the session of 2017-18.
The two teachers are-- Professor M Mustafizur Rahman, dean, fine arts faculty also the convener of question making committee and M Zillur Rahman, an assistant professor of Printmaking and Oriental department, also a member of question making committee.
The authorities barred two teachers for 10 years from participating in any examination process of the university. Meanwhile, Assistant Professor M Zillur Rahman’s promotion will be upheld for next five years, according to a source.
Rajshahi University Syndicate Member Abdul Mamun Kaiyum said: “The decision against two teachers has been taken in the 474th syndicate of Rajshahi University."
