The 121st birth anniversary of united India's legendary leader Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is set to be observed tomorrow in Bangladesh.
A group of Netaji's fans and followers has arranged a number of programmes marking his 121st birth anniversary and the "Patriotism Day."
A discussion on the great leader of India’s independence movement will be held at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum in the city at 3pm.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will be present at the event as the chief guest while MP Rezwan Ahmed Toufiq and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Harsha Bardhan Shringla as the special guests.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 121st birth anniversary and Patriotism Day celebration committee convener Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique will chair the programme.
The cover of "Birbandana," a special publication on Subhas Bose, will be unveiled and a website – ICNSI will be inaugurated at the programme.
A cultural program will also be held after the discussion.
Ashraful Islam, the member secretary of the committee, has invited all to attend the programme and make it a success.
The event is being observed in Bangladesh for the first time.
