The captain of the US-Bangla Airlines flight, Abid Sultan, who received severe injuries in the plane crash, has succumbed to his injuries.
US-Bangla General Manager (PR) Kamrul Islam confirmed the news.
Abid breathed his last earlier in the day while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu.
The three other cabin crew members--co-pilot Prithula Rashid, Khwaza Hossain Mohammad Shafi and Shamim Akter-- died yesterday soon after the US-Bangla flight from Dhaka crashed in Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport.
The flight, carrying 71 passengers and crew members, crashed while landing at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan airport.
Witnesses said there was a loud bang and that the plane shook violently while people wept inside the aircraft and chanted.
The cause of the crash remains unclear, and an investigation is under way.
