Anti Corruption Commission on Monday called Awami League lawmaker Minzanur Rahman to its office in the capital for interrogation over accumulating 'huge amount' of wealth within a short period of time.
Monjur Morsher, deputy director of Anti Corruption Commission, also investigation officer of Khulna-2, quizzed the Parliamentarian at ACC office in capital’s Segunbagicha area.
Confirming the information, ACC Public Relation Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the journalists: “ The parliament member reached ACC office around 10am today. The Commission received a number of allegations against the Parliament Member over accumulating asset worth around Tk 100 crores from illegal sources. ”
