The demonstrators of quota reform movement in public recruitments have given an ultimatum to the authorities concerned, demanding the immediate withdrawal of cases.
They have threatened that if the cases, filed during the movement, were not withdrawn within two days, they will take to the street again.
The protesters also demanded strict punishment against the criminals, who swooped on the house of Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) during the demonstration.
Protesters came up with the ultimatum at a press conference on Dhaka University campus today.
Hasan Al Mamun, convener of Bangladesh General Students' Right Protection Forum said: “We want the immediate withdrawal of all cases against our fellows. Otherwise, we will take to the streets again."
