Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar on Tuesday said Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will be included in the curriculum of primary education within two years.
The minister came up with the disclosure while addressing a programme as a chief guest in the capital today.
Mostafa Jabbar said: “We already have appointed teacher and trainer to boost ICT education across the country. At least 85 millions of people of the country are using the internet while around 150 millions are connected with the mobile network.”
"We are taking necessary steps to include ICT in the curriculum of primary education," he added.
