Three workers of Turag Paribahan, who have been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a student of Uttara University inside a running bus, was put on a three-day remand.
They are--bus driver Roman, his helper Nayan and the conductor, Monir.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Golam Nabi passed the order on Tuesday after Gulshan police produced the accused before his court with a seven-day remand plea.
The accused were arrested from the capital's Sayedabad area on Monday afternoon.
They reportedly confined a student of Uattara University inside a running bus and tried to rape her on Sunday. Later, the students of the university seized 40 buses of the company in protest against the incident.
