The authorities of Bangladesh Railway have suspended Eid holidays for its employees to ensure hassle-free journey of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidaymakers.
Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Sitangshu Chakrabarty confirmed the information to the journalists today.
The station manager said: “We have taken necessary measures to ensure on-time movement of the Eid trains. All trains have departed Kamalapur station in pre-scheduled time. A total of 66 trains will leave Dhaka today towards the different destination of the country. ”
The holidaymakers, who have been waiting for the trains in Kamalapur station, have alleged that movement of most of the trains delayed departing the Kamalpur Station on Monday.
