The authorities of Bangladesh Railway have suspended Eid holidays for its employees to ensure hassle-free journey of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidaymakers.
Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Sitangshu Chakrabarty confirmed the information to the journalists today.
The station manager said: “We have taken necessary measures to ensure on-time movement of the Eid trains. All trains have departed Kamalapur station in pre-scheduled time. A total of 66 trains will leave Dhaka today towards the different destination of the country.”
The holidaymakers, who have been waiting for the trains in Kamalapur station, have alleged that movement of most of the trains delayed departing the Kamalpur Station on Monday.
