Quota reform movement leader APM Suhel has reportedly been picked up by the members of "law enforcement agencies."

According to a Facebook post made by former president of Bangladesh Chhatra Union Lucky Akter, several numbers of plainclothes law enforcers raided her Shantinagar house around 4:30am today and detained Suhel.

Contacted, Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Devdas Bhattacharya denied the allegations.

Earlier on May 23, a gang of miscreants swooped on Suhel, the joint convener of Jagannath University (JnU) unit of Bangladesh Sadharon Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad, and beat him up severely, leaving him injured.

His fellow demonstrators then claimed that he had come under the attack for his involvement with the ongoing quota reform movement.
