Actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after she fell ill this afternoon.
Nawshaba was taken to DMCH around 3:45pm, her brother Junaid Ahmed, has confirmed the news.
A Dhaka court here on Monday (today) also rejected the bail petition for actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed in a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order this afternoon.
The case was filed for allegedly spreading rumours on social media about the student protests for safe roads.
On August 4, members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed from Uttara area in the capital.
Actress Nawshaba went to Facebook live around 4pm on the day and said that the attackers killed two students and gouged out the eyes of another at Jigatala intersection, according to a video clip.
In her Facebook live, the actress requested people to get united, take to the streets to ‘protect’ the students as they were attacked by Chhatra League activists.
