BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday said we have to create pressure on the government to release our party chief Begum Khaleda Zia from the jail.
He came up with the remarks after a milad and doa mahfil programme in the Nayapaltan central of BNP today.
Urging his partymen toward tough movement, Mirza Fakhrul said: “We have to create pressure on the government to abolish the parliament in order to reestablish democracy in the country. Make tough movement to free the mother of democracy from the jail.”
BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas and Goyeshor Chandra Ray, BNP chairperson’s Advisor Abdus Salam and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi were present at the programme.
