Separate courts have granted bail to a total of 25 students, including 16 from private universities, accused in three cases filed over vandalism and attacks on police during the student movement demanding road safety.
The 10 students, who got bail in a case filed with Badda Police Station are--Redwan Ahmed, Rashedul Islam, Mushfiqur Rahman, Iftekhar Ahmed, Reza Rifat Akhlaq, AHM Khaled Reza, Tariqul Islam, Noor Mohammad, Jahidul Haque, Mohammad Hasan.
Those who got bail in a case filed with Vatara Police Station are--Ajijul Karim Antor, Mashad Mortuza Bin Ahad, Foyez Ahmed Adnan, Mehedi Hasan, Shihab Shahriar and Mahedi Hasan.
The nine students, who got bail in a case filed with Dhanmondi Police Station are--Sohad Khan, Mashrikul Alam, Tamal Samad, Omar Siam, Mahmudur Rahman, Mahbubur Rahman, Iqbal hasan, Minhaz Rahman and Naimur Rahman.
A total of 99 people were shown arrested in 51 cases of arson and vandalism. Of them, 52 are students. The bail hearings of rest students are likely to be held tomorrow.
