Tow ‘drug traders’ killed in Feni ‘gunfight’

At least two suspected drug traders were killed in a reported gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in BSCIC Industrial area of Feni early Monday.

The deceased are—Mamun Morshed, 35 and Al Amin 25.

Confirming the information, Rab-7 Captain Shafayat Jamil said: “Being tipped off, Rab set up check posts in several points of the town. Mamun and Al Amin, two listed drug dealers, opened fire targeting the members of Rab while they were signaled to stop. The Duo was found dead on the spot as Rab also opened fire on them. Bodies of two deceased have been sent to Feni Modern Hospital,” he added.

Rab also claimed to have rescued 24,700 Yaba tablets from the spot.
