No election under Sheikh Hasina: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said people will not accept any election under the regime of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Addressing a press conference at party's Nayapaltan central office, the BNP leader said: "There is no alternative to a non-partisan and neutral government to ensure the right to vote of the people,"

Rizvi also demanded the immediate release of his party chief Begum Khaled Zia and urged army deployment in the upcoming polls.

"The presence of thousands of people in the in the yesterday's rally proved that people no longer want this government," Rizvi said.

vilifying the role of the current government Rizvi said: "Awami League has cancelled the caretaker government system by abolishing the 13th amendment of the constitution to remain in lifetime power. They must be stepped down, however, no conspiracies and mischief will come into force to remain in the power."

BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokan, Organizing Secretary  Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu were present among others at the press conference.
