“Titli now is lying over coastal Odisha of India … It is likely to move north-northwestwards further inland and weaken gradually by two days,” Ruhul Quddus, a meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department(BMD), told BSS this afternoon.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay and deep sea have been advised to remain in shelter till further notice.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and at many places in Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places across the country, the bulletin added.
