43 bandits surrender arms to Home Minister

Forty-three bandits on Saturday gave up their arms and surrendered to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan in a ceremony organised by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) in Maheshkhali.

43 members of the six bandit groups, including the top 12 of terrorists, surrendered their weapons – 94 guns and 7,637 rounds of bullets – at  Adarsha High School ground, Maheshkhali.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was the chief guest at the ceremony where RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed was the special guest.

Among others, MP of Maheshkhali-Kutubdia constituency Ashake Ullah Rafiq, District Awami League president Advocate Sirajul Mustafa were present in the programme.
