Gopalganj district Awami League has started their poll campaign ahead of the national election slated to be held by the last week of December this year.
The campaign, led by district Awami League General Secretary Mahbub Ali Khan, has been started from the district’s Chowrangi area this morning.
AL leaders and activists along with Gopalganj-2 constituency MP Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim sought votes for Awami League, citing different development activities of the government across the country.
The AL leaders and activists distributed leaflets to the people during the campaign.
District Awami League General Secretary Mahbub Ali Khan after the campaign said: “The ruling Awami League-led government has brought massive changes in the district with different development activities, including setting up university, medical college, eye hospital and institute, fisheries institute, schools and colleges and other infrastructures.”
“So, we ask people to vote Awami League to power again in a bid to continue this development processes,” he added.
