BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has started her journey to Cox’s Bazar to visit the Rohingya camp in Kutupalong.
Party insiders said Khaleda Zia started her journey from her Gulshan residence in the capital at 10am.
According to the schedule, the BNP chairperson will take a break at Feni Circuit House for lunch while she is expected to reach Chittagong tonight and willl stay at the Circuit House.
Sources also said reaching Cox’s Bazar this evening, she will stay overnight at the Circuit House on Sunday and will go to Ukhia on Monday noon to visit the Rohingya camps there.
BNP sources also said the party senior leaders, including its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, are accompanying Khaleda Zia during her Cox's Bazar visit.
BNP’s Chittagong Divisional General Secretary Mahbube Elahi Shamim earlier said: “BNP activists and supporters in Chittagong are enthusiastic about the chairperson's visit here.”
