Authorities of Pabna Medical College have closed the college sine die following a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Friday.
Over establishing supremacy in the campus compound and as a sequel to the enmity, followers of the two groups of BCL engaged in a clash this morning, leaving several of them injured.
Private TV channel NEWS24, a sister concern of the Daily Kalerkantho, has reported the news.
Sources said two factions of the pro-Awami League student body -- one led by Pabna Medical College unit of BCL President Mahfuzur Rahman Nayan and another by its General Secretary Oditiya -- had been at loggerheads on the day.
Students were asked to vacate the campus by Friday afternoon.
