BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who was admitted to a private hospital in the capital on Apr 3 with cardiac pain, has returned home from hospital on Wednesday.
Private TV station News24, a sister concern of the Bangla daily Kalerkantho, has confirmed the news.
Mirza Fakhrul was admitted to the capital's United Hospital as he suddenly started feeling unwell around 10:30am on Monday.
“He is now out of risk,” a hospital source said yesterday.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was undergoing treatment at the coronary care unit (CCU) of the United Hospital.
Party sources said he has been suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and heart complications for a long time.
