The National Jukto Front is going to place a seven-point declaration over the ongoing political situation ahead of the 11th national election, after the emergence of a broad United Front (Jukto Front) as an “alternative” political platform in the country.
The organization will start the formal journey through this announcement while personalities like Dr Kamal Hossain, Dr Badruddoza Chowdhury and Mahmudur Rahman Manna are set to lead the platform, insiders from the platform have confirmed.
The declaration will be announced anytime this afternoon, sources said.
“The main point of the seven-point declaration will be the demand of arranging a free, fair and credible election slated to be held by the last week of December this year,” Nagarik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna told reporters.
Contacted Manna also said: “We have discussed in detail in the forum about what will be the announcement. The seven-point declaration is the essence of those discussions.”
“We are going to unify for the establishment of a welfare state on parity. Changes in the state structure are important now,” he points.
