Ruling Awami League and Jatiya Party (JP) have welcomed the Election Commission’s polls schedule on the 11th parliamentary election in the country.
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahabubul Alam Hanif and Ruhul Amin Hawlader of JP have welcomed the schedule on behalf of their respective parties in immediate reactions tonight.

They came up with the supports after Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda announced the polls schedule set to be held by December 23 this year.
While addressing the nation ahead of the upcoming national polls, CEC KM Nurul Huda urged all political parties in the country to take part in the 11th parliamentary election.
“Take part in the election to continue Bangladesh’s development processes, upholding the democracy on a stronger manner,” he urged the registered political parties.
As per the polls schedule, the national election will be held on December 23 this year.
KM Nurul Huda in the nationwide televised address said: “Vote cast will be held on December 23 this year.”
The CEC further said: “The aspirants will have to submit their nomination papers by November 19 while the nomination papers will be scrutinized on November 22.”
“The deadline to withdraw the nomination forms is November 29,” he said in the 15-minute speech.
He began to address the nation around 7pm while the speech of the CEC was broadcast simultaneously on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar.
Private television channels and radios also broadcast KM Nurul Huda’s speech taking the feed from the BTV and Bangladesh Betar.
