BNP has declared the list of its final candidates for around 206 seats to contest in the upcoming general elections slated to be held on December 30.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir formally announced the list while addressing at a p press conference held at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan political office in the capital this evening.
“We will disclose the names of 94 other candidates of the 20-party and Oikyafront tomorrow,” Mirza Fakhrul said while responding to journalists.
Oikyafront is going to contest the 11th parliamentary elections with the BNP’s election symbol ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.
Earlier in the day, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader also announced the names of the final nominees of the party at AL president’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi.
