BNP chief Begum Khaleda Zia is finally barred from contesting in the upcoming 11th parliamentary election scheduled to be held on December 30.
She is now barred from polls as the authorities of Election Commission have rejected all three appeals filed against the rejection of her nominations for Feni-1, Bogura-6 and Bogura-7 constituencies.
Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed has confirmed the news.
The decision on the nominations of BNP chief Khaleda Zia for the 11th parliamentary election came around 5pm on Saturday (today).
