The investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange – at the opening on Thursday (October 17).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over -9.53 points and -0.15 percent to stand at 6004.31 at the opening of the day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 46560 with the transaction at Tk 2597.03 million.
Of the issues traded, 181 advanced, 911 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to -28.80 by dropping over 11257.71 points.
Of the issues traded, 88 gained, 55 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
