The investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange – at the opening on Sunday (December 17).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over -5.37 points and -0.08 percent to stand at 6224.64 at the opening of the day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 25046 with the transaction at Tk 906.14 million.
Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 131 declined and 51 remained unchanged.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to -11.03 by dropping over 11637.30 points.
Of the issues traded, 60 gained, 51 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
