The investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange – at the opening on Wednesday (January 10).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over -28.98 points and -0.46 percent to stand at 6169.54 at noon of the day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 75923 with the transaction at Tk 3279.867 million.
Of the issues traded, 96 advanced, 191 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to -45.72 by dropping over 11541.01 points.
Of the issues traded, 63 gained, 137 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
