Kaler Kantho online has launched a new article series to inspire the youth where Mostafa Kamal, executive editor of Daily Kaler Kantho, will write regularly.
Here is today's motivational writing:
I would like to echo Poet Kali Prashanna Ghosh, who once said not to get disheartened in case of failure, rather one should try again and again in order to reach his or her goals.
Some people get upset failing to get what they set out to achieve. They say: "I cannot make it." But my question is: Why you can't do it? If others can make it then why I can't?
In order to be successful, we must be able to ask the question to ourselves and we must vow to achieve the goal we fixed earlier. We must understand success cannot be achieved without struggle and we must earn the status by working hard and erasing the word "failure" from our life.
None can gain success without any struggle in the early stage. We may face several challenges on the way to be successful but those are only the stages not the final destination. We should remember that we must start from that very point where we fall.
I can still remember one of my teachers Dilip Ray saying: "We must stand up from where we slipped in. Otherwise, we will not be able to keep walking."
For your understanding, I want to tell you two success stories based on real event. One of my close individual whom I consider my sister is a successful government high-ups. Once I asked her about the reason behind her success. She said she used to read books and magazines, and she thinks she was able to qualify as a BCS cadre only due to this practice.
Let me share the story of another successful lady. She is Nazmun Nahar, the Flag Girl of Bangladesh. She has travelled 125 countries with the flag of Bangladesh and she has a plan to visit rest of the countries before the 50th anniversary of our independence.
