Shrinivas Chandrasekaran, a Chennai-based performance analyst, is all set to join the Bangladesh cricket team as High Performance Analyst.
The development came ahead of the tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in Dhaka starting January 15, reported TOI.
The 27-year-old analyst was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team which won the IPL in 2016 and has been part of the Sunrisers' set up for the past three seasons.
He has also been involved with various other T20 leagues.
Shrinivas is no stranger to Bangladesh cricket set up as he has worked with a few teams in the Bangladesh Premier League over the past few years and the experience should come in handy.
He has also worked with Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman during his SRH stint.
In 2017, Shrinivas was part of the Madurai Supergiant dugout in the Tamil Nadu Premier League and he has also worked with the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team.
