Indian act-in skipper Rohit Sharma played an outstanding innings of 89 runs off 61 balls with 5 over boundaries and 5 boundaries while left-handed batsman Suresh Raina added 47 runs off 30 balls. Another opening batsman, Shikhar Dhawan scored 35 runs off 27 balls.
The only successful bowler, Rubel Hussain picked 2 wickets for Bangladesh side.
