Bangladesh allrounder Shakib al Hasan has achieved magnificent T20 double of 4000 runs and 300 wickets during the Tuesday night's IPL clash.
The Bangladesh allrounder has become just the second person in history to reach the Twenty20 milestone while only Caribbean T20 star Dwayne Bravo has previously reached that impressive double.
The 34-year-old Caribbean T20 star has 5,607 career runs in the 20-over format, to go with 417 wickets from his 380 games when Bangladesh’s Shakib reached the feat with the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the Sunrisers Hyderabad victory against the Mumbai Indians in the night.
Shakib became the fifth bowler in the history of T20 cricket, and the first Bangladeshi, to take 300 wickets and he has 4,069 runs and 300 wickets, reaching the mark in his 260th T20 match.
Dwayne Bravo is now playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the current IPL season.
