SAFF U-15 Women’s: Bangladesh team makes first practice

Bangladesh U-15 Women's Football team made their first practice session at the match venueChanglingmithang Stadium in Thimphu for one and half hour on Tuesday ahead of the six-nation SAFF U-15 Women's Championship’2018 beginning there on Thursday (Aug 9).

Head Coach of Bangladesh Women’s team Golam Rabbani Choton conducted training session under the supervision of BFF Technical & Strategic Director Paul Thomas Smalley for the first match against debutante Pakistan on Thursday.  

In the (Tuesday) afternoon, Bangladesh U-15 team made recovery gym training at the team Hotel Ariya International for about one hour, according a message received from Bangladesh Football Federation Tuesday evening.  
 
All players of Bangladesh team are fine and in good physical condition, local weather is also fine with occasion rain in the evening, local temperature is about 12-14 degree.
 
Touring Bangladesh team will attend a match coordination meeting on Wednesday at 12 noon and will address a pre-match press conference at 1 pm at Druk Hotel Thimphu.
 
Besides, Bangladesh team have a team meeting at 8:00 pm at meeting room of the team Hotel Ariya International.

Defending champions Bangladesh team was the first foreign side to reach Bhutan on Monday while their first-match opponent Pakistan reached Thimphu on Tuesday and also accommodated at the Hotel Ariya International.

Bangladesh, which was put in Group B of the six-nation meet along with Pakistan and Nepal, will play Nepal on August 13, also at 7 pm (local time) in the remaining group match at the Changlingmithang Stadium. 

Last year’s finalist India who was placed in Group A with Sri Lanka and hosts Bhutan, will play Sri Lanka, which are playing the championship for the first time, in one of the two inaugural day matches at 4pm at the same venue.

Both the semifinals will be held on August 16 while the final is billed for August 18.
